About this trip
Bardia (Bardiya) National is a protected area in Nepal established in 1988 as Royal Bardia National Park. It covers an area of 968 sq km and is the largest and most undisturbed national park in the Terai region of Nepal.
In the protected 968 sq km of sal forest and grassland, Bardia National Park contains one of Asia’s largest stretches of tiger habitat. Along with tigers you can also find a large number of wild elephants and one-horned rhinos among the various species of mammals living in the forests.

Day 1: Take off to Nepalgunj
Normally, the flight takes off at 7:20 am, 1:40 pm and 5:20 pm. You could easily choose the timings as per your convenience and we will do accordingly.
After a scenic 30 minutes flight, the hotel representatives will escort you to your hotel. You can have a relaxing day further as a series of activities awaits you the next day.
Day 2: Birding Tour and Jungle Walk
After lunch or around dawn, you will be taken for a jungle walk. If you are lucky enough, you might even be lucky enough to see a tiger!
In the evening, you will have dinner at your hotel and then can have a good relaxing sleep at the hotel.
Day 3: Jeep Safari and River Trip
After lunch, you will be taken for a short river trip where you may see elephants as well.
The day will end again at the hotel.
The main reason for staying at the hotel for three nights is that you will have a greater chance to sight a tiger as this is still rare.
Day 4: Return to Kathmandu
After that, the hotel’s car will take you to the airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. The tickets will have booked by Travel Devisers beforehand.
