About this trip

This tour is designed to take you around the major touristic sites of Nepal, where you can experience the cultural and natural beauty of these places, which include Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Patan, Pokhara, Jomsom and Chitwan. You will be guided around some of the most amazing sightseeing destinations of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan, providing you an insight into the rich culture and tradition of Nepal.

Then you will head towards Pokhara, where you will get to explore the beautiful ambience of the city. And around the major tourist attractions in Pokhara which include Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Rupa Lake, Mahendra Gupha, the Davis Fall, the gorge of the Seti River, etc.

After your sightseeing tour in Pokhara, you will fly to Jomsom this land is blessed with exquisite natural beauty. Jomsom is situated on the bank of Kali Gandaki River and is conquered by the magnificent mountain ranges of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri peaks. Excursions around Jomsom will truly be a rewarding lifetime experience.

The trip will conclude in Chitwan, visit to Nepal’s biggest National park. The Royal Chitwan National Park is situated in the tropical Terai region, which is renowned for it’s various wildlife rare species, from one-horned Rhino to the Royal Bengal Tiger. Taking on this fun-filled journey, you get to experience real adventure and pleasure along your journey.

Arrive at Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our Travel Devisers’ representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designed hotel. The representative will help you check into your hotel.

At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities.

Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu Valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors.

The valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influences.

In the morning, after breakfast, you will be guided to visit 3 renowned Buddhist and Hindu temples: Pashupatinath, Bouddha Stupa, and Swayambhunath.

After lunch, you will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square.

Drive to Pokhara

Today you will be driven to Pokhara, which is located 200 km west of Kathmandu valley and it take around 6 hours by road.

Along the way you can explore the scenic views of the national highway along the Trishuli River. En route you will visit Manakamana temple by cable car.

Upon arrival at Pokhara and after checking into the hotel, you can go for evening walk around the touristic lake side area.

Sightseeing around Pokhara Valley

Pokhara is a globally renowned tourist destination for its natural beauty. You will spend the entire day sightseeing and relaxing.

First, you will visit Fewa Lake where you can see the reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre if the weather is clear. The lake also holds Barahi Temple located in the middle of the lake.

Other interesting destinations would be Devi’s Waterfall, Tibetan Refugee Settlement, Gupteshwor Cave, International Mountain Museum and Bindabasini Temple.

Overnight stay will be in Pokhara.

Fly to Jomsom and Excursion around Jomsom

Your next destination is Jomsom, you will travel to that destination by flight.

Pokhara-Jomsom flight gives a thrilling panoramic view of Himalayas and rivers. After rest & refreshments you will proceed for your excursion around Jomsom.

Travelling to Jomsom you will be able to explore ancient kingdom of Mustang.

Muktinath is the most popular site in Jomson. Muktinath is a scared place for both Hindu’s and Buddhist.

The central shrine of Sri Muktinath is considered one of the eight most sacred shrines for Hindu Vaishnavas. As you visit this sacred site, you will able to grasp a complete picture of Hindu religious culture, tradition and custom of local people.

Fly to Pokhara and drive to Chitwan

After breakfast you will take a direct flight to Pokhara and be driven to Chitwan National Park, which is located 151km, and take around 5 hours by road.

On arrival you will check into the Resort/ Jungle lodge followed by welcome drink and briefing about the jungle activities. After Lunch you will proceed for jungle activities.

After completing the activities you will return back for dinner and stay at resort/jungle lodge.

Safari Activities around Chitwan

Today you begin for day with nature walk and bird watching tour inside the jungle.

After breakfast you explore the jungle on jeep safari and sight Deers, one-horned Rhinoceros, Wild Boars, monkeys, birds and many other smaller animals.

After jeep safari tour you will proceed for Dugout Canoe Ride in Dungre/Rapti River to see two rare species of crocodile - the Marsh mugger and the fish eating Gharial.

You will also visit the elephant-breeding farm and late afternoon villages walk can be organized to a nearby Tharu village.

In the evening, during your stay at the lodge, you can enjoy “Tharu Tribal Dance” presented by the local Tharu villagers, followed by traditional Nepali Cuisine.

Drive back to Kathmandu

Today after breakfast you will drive back to Kathmandu (186km/5 hours).

Upon arrival in Kathmandu and after checking into the hotel, you can rest of the day and you are free to explore the city on your own for some souvenir shopping or sightseeing.

Spend your last night at Kathmandu.

Departure from Kathmandu

After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight home.

You also have the option to to extend your stay in Nepal for shorter trips, such as visits to national parks, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, and more. We are always ready to help you plan for these if you would require them.
