Sirubari village is one of the most popular villages located in Syangja district in Nepal which is mostly inhabited by Gurung people.

This village tour offers the experience of a real rural social life, i.e. culture, lifestyle, tradition, custom, rituals of Nepalese people. In addition to this, travelers can also get the natural experience of the village.

The tour also gives you the opportunity to capture stunning views of Annapurna Himalaya range including Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt Machhapuchhre, and other peaks, forests, rivers, lakes.

The unique attraction of Sirubari is the model for a growing new trend in tourism in Nepal. This village was also awarded the PATA Gold Award in recognition of its efforts to preserve the culture and heritage of Nepali rural life.

Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our Travel Devisers’ representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designed hotel. The representative will help you check into your hotel.

At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities.

Sightseeing around Kathmandu

Kathmandu Valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors.

The valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influences.

In the morning, after breakfast, you will be guided to visit 3 renowned Buddhist and Hindu temples: Pashupatinath, Bouddha Stupa, and Swayambhunath.

After lunch, you will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square.

Drive to Pokhara

This day is important day to you because your trek starts from today.

After an early breakfast you will be driven to Pokhara, 200 km from Kathmandu. The drive takes about 5 to 6 hours on tourist vehicle.

You also have the option to fly to Pokhara.

On the way to our destination you will go through beautiful forests, deep gorges and pass many Nepali villages.

Sightseeing around Pokhara

Pokhara is a very popular tourist destination and is renowned for its natural beauty.

Today you will be guided for a full day city tour.

In the early morning, you will be taken to Sarangkot, which is one of the best places to see the sunrise and sunset.

Following this you will visit Fewa Lake where you can enjoy boating. If the weather is clear, you can see the reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhre in the lake.

The lake also houses the Barahi Temple located in the middle of the lake.

Other interesting destinations would be David's Fall, the Tibetan Refugee Settlement, the Gupteshwor Cave, the International Mountain Museum, and the Bindabasini Temple.

Drive to Sirubari

Today you will be driven to Sirubari via Badhkhola.

You will have lunch in Darau and hike a few hours to Sirubari where you will be welcomed at Sirubari by local people and blessed by the local priest.

Here you can have a chance to interact with home-stay families.

Sirubari exploration day

This day is designated as Sirubari exploration day.

Today you will have a tour around the village where you can live the culture, lifestyle, tradition, custom, rituals of the local people.

Accommodation will be provided at a local home with a local family.

Sirubari hiking day

Today you have a hike, on foot for mountain views and sunrise at Thumro.

Snacks will be served at Maidan Kharka before sunrise.

After viewing the sunrise you will return to Sirubari for breakfast and lunch at home.

After lunch we will visit the village, funeral area, and a local school, followed by a group activity at the village monastery and a cultural program.

Drive to Kathmandu

From Siribari, you will be driven to Kathmandu via Pokhara, which take around 7 to 8 hours.

On the way you can enjoy great views of the Annapurna Himalaya range along with scenic forest, rivers, and local villages.

Rest day in Kathmandu

Today is an extra day to relax and Kathmandu and reduce your fatigue. You can go for shopping, body massage, or other light activities.

Depart from Kathmandu

After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight home.

You also have the option to to extend your stay in Nepal for shorter trips, such as visits to national parks, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, and more. We are always ready to help you plan for these if you would require them.
