Ghale Gaon Village tour is one of the famous village tours. It lies round Annapurna circuit route, the whole world’s as well as Nepal’s most popular trekking destination. Ghale Gaon is a beautiful and ideal village among south Asian villages which is the rural home stay based tourism destination to experience the social life of the ghales, their rituals, tradition, cultures; religious event such as lively traditional music and dance.

The Ghale Gaun is situated at an altitude of 2070 m from sea level which belongs to warrior ethnic Gurung tribe. Since a decade ago the concept of village tourism, eco- tourism and cultural tourism are being exercised in this region. Another important destination near Ghale Gaon is Dudhapokhari which is a sacred lake and major pilgrimage site of local inhabitants where great fair occurs on Janai Purnima in August. From this trekking trial, trekkers can see the majestic views of Mt. Hiunchuli, Mt. Manaslu, Annapurna South, Fishtail Mountain, Mt. Lamjung etc., picturesque green forest with colorful rhododendrons, wonderful waterfalls, and rivers.

The route offers wonderful panoramic views of. The tour gives you chances to explore the real village’s life. The friendly and hearty behaviors of the family members gives you a different experience that you have never enjoyed before. The accommodation will be at local home. You will be observing the real Nepalese cultural tradition from the closest quarter and intermingle with the locals. Arrive at Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our Travel Devisers’ representative and driver will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designed hotel. The representative will help you check into your hotel.

Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu Valley is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors.

The valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influences.

In the morning, after breakfast, you will be guided to visit 3 renowned Buddhist and Hindu temples: Pashupatinath, Bouddha Stupa, and Swayambhunath.

After lunch, you will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square.

Drive to Besi Shahar and hike to Khudi

This day is important to you because your trek starts from today.

In the morning after having breakfast, you will be driven on a private tourist vehicle to Besi Sahar which is located 180 km far from the capital city Kathmandu, in the north western direction of Lamjung district.

You will reach Besi Sahar after around 6 hours drive from Kathmandu. On the way you can enjoy with the beautiful scenic hills, forest, rivers, local villages and towns.

After reaching Besi Sahar, you will take rest and trek to Khudi.

Hike to Ghale gaun

Today after having breakfast, the trail follows the path along the bank of Khudi River, past waterfalls and the villages.

You continue your trip through the forest and the field.

After about 4 – 5 hours of walking, you will reach Ghale gaun from where you can get picturesque Annapurna, Manaslu and other Himalaya range. It is also the best place for sunrise and sunset.

Ghale Gaun exploration

This day is a rest day. After having breakfast you will hike around Ghale Gaun.

You can find the most of the houses were made in same style with windows carved with unique architecture.

You can experience the Ghale cultures, tradition, life styles and rituals. You can visit Buddhist Gompa in the village.

In the evening you can enjoy the Nepalese cultural programs.

Hike to Ghanapokhara

From Ghale Gaun, The trekking trail passes through the rhododendron forest with chirping melody of birds and hissing of waterfalls and hill side farm terraces to the traditional village Ghanapokhara. You can also experience Ghale cultures in this village.

Hike to Baglungpani

Leaving Ghanapokhara, the trail crosses the Midim River via suspension bridge. You will begin to climb to Khumre Danda (2000m) before descending to Pasgaun.

On the way you can visit Buddhist Gompa an in the evening you can experience Nepalese culture as previously.

Hike to Laxmi Bazaar

Today is another charming day. The trail follows the steep descend path to Rudi stream by crossing the suspension bridge.

On the way you will have spectacular views of Mt. Annapurna and the Manaslu Himalaya range.

Trek to Begnas Lake and drive to Pokhara

This day is the last day of trek. From Laxmi Bazaar the trail leads you to Begnas lake. After reaching, you can boat for an hour and then you can catch the vehicle to go to Pokhara.

Sightseeing around Pokhara

Pokhara is recognized as a naturally beauty city of Nepal. After having breakfast, you will be guided for full day city sightseeing.

You will visit Fewa Lake (the Barahi temple lies on the middle of the lake) where you can see the reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhre on the surface of the lake if the sky is clear.

Next destinations are Devi’s water fall, Tibetan refugee settlement, Gupteshower cave, International mountain museum and Bindabasini temple.

Drive to Kathmandu

After having breakfast you will be driven to Kathmandu or you have an option to fly to Kathmandu.

After reaching Kathmandu you can spend your free time enjoying some shopping, relaxation.

Depart Kathmandu

After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take you to the international airport for your flight home.
