About this trip
We start this hike by driving to Kakani (2073m), which is an hour drive (32kms north) from Kathmandu. Kakani trail heads towards the east by road. The trail is almost flat along the way we will pass by numerous picnic spots and small village settlements. The hike to Bhanjyang takes about three hours; you have to climb for 20 minutes uphill on a steep trail to reach the destination.
After lunch and relaxing for a few hours, we hike down to Kakani for about two and half hours to the end of the hike and drive back to Kathmandu in a private vehicle.
